  19. Thanks for getting your hands on my program.  Informant is a program I'v been
  20. sitting on for a few months now.  It seems that once I sit down to finish it 
  21. I get a new idea in my head, and off I go on to a new project.  A year and a 
  22. half ago I released a program called System Graph version 4.0 and got 
  23. wonderful feedback.  Today, I got a mail message from a user of System Graph 
  24. version 4.0 asking me if I had a new version.  Instead of just mailing him 
  25. Informant I decided to release it to the public.

  28. About this beta 1 release:
  29. --------------------------
  30. This program is beta because:
  31.   o  It's not feature complete
  32.   o  It's slow on some computers
  33. I released it because I want to know if people like it.  I have one more year 
  34. of college to go though and I don't want to spend time finishing a program 
  35. that people don't like.  If you decide you like this program or have any ideas
  36. please let me know!  If I get enough responses I'll finish it and even write 
  37. a help file and install program for it!

  40. Basic things to know:
  41. ----------------
  42. 1) Hiding caption bar - Select from system menu or double click on window with
  43.    left mouse button.
  44. 2) Getting the about dialog box - Select from system menu.
  45. 3) Getting the configuration dialog box - Select from system menu or double 
  46.    click on window with right mouse button.
  47. IMPORTANT:
  48. The configuration box saves the position of the Informant window when you 
  49. sellect OK.
